The students of XYZ Public School celebrated the Earth day in a befitting manner on 22th April this year. All the students from class 6 to 12 took part in the celebration. The main purpose of the celebration was to spread awareness about need to protect the Earth and the ways to do it.
The school campus was nicely decorated with informative posters and displays emphasizing the message of saving our beautiful earth. The day commenced with a nice speech on the importance of this day and what we should do. Students and teachers actively participated in various activities like as recycling workshop, creating art from recycled materials.
We participated in a campaign with posters and banners urging people how the earth is being affected by the burning of fossil fuels and the random use of plastic and polythene materials. The entire area witnessed a meaningful enterprise of the students for creating awareness in people to protect the earth for future generations. The celebration ended with the distribution of sweets to all at around 3:00 p.m.
