My dear friend,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and happiness. From your letter, I wanted to know why you could not attend the Ganapati Pooja at our home in spite of getting my invitation. So I am writing this letter to describe to you how I celebrated the Ganapati festival at my place.
We worshipped the idol of lord Ganesha for 10 days. We decorated our home with vibrant colours and fragrant flowers. The highlight part of our celebration was, of course, the nicely adorned idol of lord Ganesha. Every night we participated in cultural events and enjoyed ourselves a lot. My relatives and other friends gathered to see the blessings of lord Ganesha. The days were filled with laughter, joy, and the aroma of delicious dishes.
I missed having you with us during this festival and I hope that next year we will celebrate this festival together with much fanfare. I would love to hear about how you celebrated the Ganpati festival. I am eagerly waiting for your reply.
