The auspicious ceremony of Saraswati Puja was celebrated in our school yesterday on 27th January this year. The celebration took place with grandeur and solemnity on our school auditorium. All the students from class 5th to 12th, teachers, and guardians cordially invited to be part in the celebration.
The whole School campus was clean and was richley embellished using colourful papers, beautiful flowers, and candles. The Puja mandap and the ideal of Devi Saraswati was set up in the middle of school Auditorium. The mandap was beautiful decorated with vibrant Rangoli by the girls students of the school. The school premises were transformed into a heaven of colours and fragrance as the students were donned in beautiful attire.
The day commenced with the ceremonial installation of the goddess Saraswati’s idol. Students of class 9 and 10 helped to prepare everything for Pooja. The priest came in just at around 9:50 a.m. and worshipped the goddess. All the students gave Pushpanjali to Devi Saraswati with great devotion.
At the end of the pooja, Prasad will distributed among all. After that a small cultural function was organised by the students of the school. The students performed various dance performances wearing colorful costumes and enjoyed a lot. A feast was organised for all the students and staffs by the school. Everyone ate hotpotch and sweets with tremendous joy. We were very happy and indeed it was a very enjoyable day for all of us.
