Sub: Description of Saraswati Puja Celebration

My dear friend,

Last Tuesday, I received your sweet letter. I am very happy that you are fine. In your letter, you told me to write about how we celebrated our Saraswati Puja at school. So I am writing this letter to tell you about it.

You know that the Saraswati Puja is held at our school every year in a very beautiful way. And this year’s arrangement was no exception to it. The sacred Saraswati Puja fell on February 5th this year. A week ago, the school students met and shared the puja work among the students.

The day before the puja, we decorated our puja hall, compound, and our school gate with flowers and colourful papers. We arranged a very big idol of the goddess Saraswati. The idol of the goddess Saraswati was kept in the middle of the puja hall. It was beautifully decorated with flowers.

On the day of the puja, we went to school wearing new dresses. The puja started at 8:30 a.m. A priest was engaged to worship Devi Saraswati and after the worship, we did pushpanjali at about 10:00 a.m. Then the sweets and fruits are given away among the students.

At about 1:00 p.m. our feast started. All the students and all the teachers enjoyed the feast together. The items were very delicious and attractive also. Then we returned home happily. The next day, the image of Devi Saraswati was immersed in a nearby pond. In this way, we celebrated Saraswati Puja at our school. overall it was a pretty mesmerizing ceremony.

No more today. Convey my best regards to your parents. Please let me know how you celebrated your Saraswati Puja at your school.

With love to you,

Yours lovingly,
